The start of any year is a great time to focus on some simple things you can concentrate on, to make a big difference in the coming 12 months.
I was recently asked by a journalist for the Sydney Morning Herald for my opinion on this. Of course I had tonnes of tips!
But the one the writer really liked was this: think of your life like a business. A successful business has a strategic plan as to how it will achieve growth, and a marketing plan to back it up.
I suggest you do exactly the same in your career. Work out your strategic plan of where you want to go, and your personal marketing plan will help you with accountability for the steps you need to take to get there.
What difference would that make in YOUR career, this year?
